One more thought about using less chemicals. Amway
makes APSA 80 - it's an adjuvant (sp?) - anyway, it
helps the ground absorb water easier, so you use less
water and thus, I assume less chemicals. Lots of
farmers use it on their crops, so I assume it's OK for
iris, too! I saw a test where water was put on
cardboard - one drop without and one drop with -
within minutes the one with teh APSA 80
I believe it is available also at www.quixtar.com,
