CHANTED, an SDB from Australia, opened this morning--what a stunner--a nice
pink with a sky-blue beard. Planning a cross this afternoon with ALMAS
OTHER LOVE, also blue-bearded. AND planning to save pollen to try on some
TBs for blue-bearded intermediates.
I was surprised to find at least five different arilbreds have survived in
the neglected bed out here at school, and are in bloom. One beauty is
Danielson's
AMERICAN DREAM, and the others appear to be from my old quarter-bred
seedlings of years ago. A nice survivor is obviously from VICTORIA FALLS X
CAPITOLA, a big broad powder blue with a deep blue "eyelash" signal.
