I have Flight of Butterflies which I ordered from White Flower Farm many
years ago because their description made it sound like something I couldn't
live without. I have always wondered about it because it has never reached
the height it was suppose to, so I finally moved it. I had it at the back
of a small border near the foundation. It was hidden, not because the
plants in front were so tall, but the iris was so short. Several years
ago, I moved it right next to the sidewalk. Last year it had many blooms,
but it was still very short. The leaves are even petite and the clump has
stayed small. I measured it last summer to compare it to what is was
supposed to be, but I don't remember what it was, but it wasn't any where
near 30 inches. I will measure it this summer.
