RE: HYB: questions - cristata X bearded


Hi Christy - shoulda known you'd have tried this.  Too lazy to go look
them up, so I'll ask this another way...What n number were you crossing
cristata with (how many chromosomes do MDBs usually have, how many in
Desert Orange, Pink Caper, Bright Chic )?  

Let's see, with a TB cross, I could get single blooms 3 inches across on
30 inch stalks about the diameter of those plastic swizzle straws they
use to stir coffee at fast food places.  An MTB cross sounds more
reasonable sizewise, and I think I may have just the plant to try....
