New Comer !!

    

 Hi All, 

    My name is Ron Walters, I joined the list recently and there are a couple 
of reasons that I did.  First off I live in St. Louis Missouri, When I was a 
young child my grandma had a back yard in Colton, California that was nothing 
but Iris, NO GRASS just iris, I loved that yard and always like to be back 
there with her when she was tending to her "children." The house has since 
sold and the owners that bought it have torn all those iris out and put in 
grass and decking. I wish I would have been around when they were doing that 
I would have taken all those iris from them, But I was in the Navy stationed 
on a ship and didn't know until after the fact. Since then I have been 
searching all the catalogs for the iris tubers that I can find, I would 
especially like to find the heirloom iris. Any help and suggestions that you 
can give would be greatly appreciated.  Among gardening, I also raise and 
show Havanese dogs, and also own an Animal Clinic here in St. Louis.  Thanks 
again for letting me ramble.
