Re: Need Help and Ideas

Glenna---
Thank you for the advice. As I said I am new to the growing of Iris, the
ones I have in my yard were either given to me (Dug Up and Planted Right
away) or my daughter dug some up near a house that was going to be burned
down. So I do not even know if they have names etc. But now that I am
retired, I am starting to spend more time outside and starting to plant and
try to get my yard in shape. So again thanks for the advice.

I have a local grower that is about 30 minutes away and received his catalog.
The problem I find with him is that most of his Iris are miniature dwarf and
Dwarf. I can use a few of these, but I am looking for tall bearded and he
has very few of these. Though I must say his prices are good. I live in
Northern Rhode Island, considered a zone 6.
Again thanks, Gloria
