re: TB: Tompkins pinks - OVATION

Last year, I bought a start of OVATION just to see what it would do in
this part of the world. I checked on it yesterday and it seems to be
doing quite well here, in spite of its reputation as another
biodegradeable iris. It has some winter damage, but not nearly as much
as some, plus has put on some increase. Is this another one that will
dissolve in heat, deluge, & high humidity? Or is it one that can't cope
with snow cover/colder temps in zones north of here?
