Hello, we members of San Joaquin iris Society are working hard to make
region 14's spring trek a big success. So far we have 94 people
registered and that does not count club members. We have judges training
lined up,food ordered, seedling show set, food ordered, two buses
filled, food ordered, speaker Renee Newell ready, weather has cooled
off, stalling bloom just right, actually had frost on roofs this a.m. We
are a small club with everyone wearing at least two hats for this event,
which really proves that we are "iris" people, willing to do anything to
make fellow iris people happy!! and to share our love of iris with
anyone willing to stop and smell the iris. Lorraine in Modesto
