Growing TB Ovation

I notice alot of rather negative feedback about the hardiness of
Ovation. I've never grown it, but was thinking of getting one this
year, as it is very attractive.
I've noticed with other TB cultivars, one person will say it is weak
and dies off, and someone else will say it 'grows like a weed'
No one has said they were very successfull with Ovation (unless I
missed something)
Has anyone grown this where it has been vigorous and stays alive over
a period of years? And if so, what were your growing conditions?
