Thanks to those who responded and sent me Louella Danielson's name. I phoned
her and she sent me her catalog as well as invited me out for a visit when
some of her iris bloomed. She is a delightful lady - so dedicated and so
knowledgeable. We had a great visit and I saw some absolutely gorgeous Arils
and Arilbred iris. I placed an order for August!
Now, my question. I've never seen anyone list iris they are looking for in
Iris-talk. Is this practice not allowed? I would love to find about 10-15 of
my original iris. All of these were older iris, before . . . 1980-1981. May I
list them in hopes that some of the Iris-talk members still have them in
their gardens and would be interested in selling me some rhizomes?
I'm thoroughly loving getting back into irises again and I love reading all
the letters!
