The luminata, fancy plicata and broken colour plants seem to all have the three plicata alleles present. That is pl, pla & plu. I suspect that the broken colour has two plu, the fancy plicata two pl, and the luminata-plic or fancy plicata has two pla alleles. Some test crosses are needed to figure this out. In crosses, the other parent needs to have a complementary set of plicata alleles. Best if it doesn't have the alleles that the selected parent already has two of. Thus a broken colour , if it has two plu, then it should be crossed with something that has no plu genes. The broken colour that is a warm colour (yellow or pink) likely also has either recessive or dominat genes for reduction of anthocyanin. The dark blue-purple anthocyanin ( from aphylla ancestry) seems to never be completely removed and can be present as minor streaking on yellow/white or on pink/white.
