Hello Folks,
Here's another one I find unique compared to anything else I grow. The R&I
describes this one as a 'ruffled bronze-gold self'. True enough, but this
is a dark iris as it grows here. It hints at a strong dose of green as
well. I was expecting something brighter, but this is a very subdued smoky
shade. The gold is there, but it doesn't reflect back the sun. This iris
absorbs the sunlight far beyond anything else I've grown, making it dark
without being an altogether dark color. Interesting.
