Eleanor,

I don't think your unkown iris is any of those whose names you have
mentioned. It is similar to Tennessee Woman in general appearance, but TW
has darker standards and a wider band of plicata markings on the falls. It
does have the "look" of a Sterling Innerst plicata, however. Perhaps
someone who is familiar with more of them, particularly some of the earlier
ones, could suggest an identification.
