OT-CHAT: nail in the foot

For those on & off-list who expressed concern, yep, I do keep my tetanus
booster shots up to date, tho I can't check with the doctor to make sure
till after the holiday weekend.  I was spraying flea egg killer in the
dog's fenced in lot and stepped on a hidden board under the leaves.  I
was sure I had gotten all of them out of there, but obviously missed
one.  I'm used to doctoring horse foot abscesses, punctures etc so have
a complete colleciton of veterinary supplies <g> & have started the hot
epsom salt soaks.  I'll live.

Thanks all for your kind concern.  I am able to bear weight on it a bit
today, so have hopes to be back out working on pulling iris 'companion
plants' as soon as it quits raining.
