What tag should I use on this one?
Went back & visited the San Fernando Valley Iris Society on their garden
trek Saturday. Great day to socialize; all the owners of the host gardens
were very nice and wonderfully generous in spirit. I was a member of SFVIS
until I moved four years ago, it was great to see so many of the old group,
and so many entusiastic newcomers. Randy Squires had some nice seedlings,
including one Romantic Evening child that had just opened. He was nice
enough to give me a bunch of spider plants for my relandscaping project;
they'll look great hanging down around my rock pool. The lunchtime garden
hosts, the Zeldins, deserve a special thanks for opening up their lovely
english-style garden to the club trek every year. We had a wonderful time!
