SDB: LUMALITE

Enjoying a few blooms before ??snow?? in mid-April?? This has to be a
joke....

LUMALITE opened a bloom today - all I can say is wow. What a radiant
flower. Someone in the archives described it as a green amoena, which
doesn't match this very well. The impression from across the garden is
of bright white, golden tannish greenish undescribable something or
other, and absolutely radiant red-orange beards. Even buried down in
the foliage, this one is visible from a distance. Must be spectacular
in better growing conditions.
