Walter -- Romantic Evening, for me, has been better as a pollen parent.  Some 
interesting stuff, but the first generation tends to have some haft marks.  
Also, you need to select for fall width since some of the RE children look a 
little narrow to me.  Odd that you crossed it to Arctic Fox.  I have one 
Romantic Evening cross with American Beauty which produced an updated 
American Beauty type, but I think if I were looking for a red bearded white 
with REvening I would look to Keith's recessive types, such as White Heat.

The seedling patch this year has been great.  I'll give more details later 
after I review parentages this weekend.  Regards, Abe
