Hello: My brother and I have a question we are hoping some kind soul
out there could help us with. We both are novices that simply enjoy
the iris's in our gardens each year (I'm in (western) washington, and
he's in north texas). We each have a patch of old purple iris that
originally came from our mother's house.
we have noticed that my brother's (in texas) have bloomed yellow the
last few years.
Mine did too a few years back, but have since reverted back to their
original (purple)habit.
Does anyone know why they bloom yellow? and if so, is there any way
to keep them in the purple mode. your help would be greatly
appreciated
