Well, not exactly .. I was afraid this would be confusing & wasn't sure
how to make it clearer. The AVG is the average of the performance
ratings; COUNT is the number of growers who ranked it. So VIOLET
SHIMMER got a perfect score (AVG = 4 or Better than Average) from all
three growers who have it; ASCII ART with performance average of 2.8 was
grown by one more person (4 growers), but had a lower score. So of
these three, VIOLET SHIMMER (average score 4.0) was best, then
CONFEDERATE ROYALTY, then ASCII ART.
AVG CULTIVAR COUNT
2.8 ASCII ART — Walter Moores 4
3.7 CONFEDERATE ROYALTY — Walter Moores 3
4.0 VIOLET SHIMMER — Walter Moores 3
LEMON CHESS (on the AM list) would have had a perfect score of 4 as well
except for one of the five growers who seems to be able to kill nearly
anything (wonder who that might be??).
3.4 LEMON CHESS (W. Moores) 5
If we ignore her data, then it would be
4.0 LEMON CHESS (W. Moores) 4
