What else? I'm currently being assaulted with strong gusty winds swirling
around and loaded with sprinkles. The kind of wind that can lay over a
stalk even without an open parachute for the wind to really catch hold of.
HELLO DARKNESS may not even get to whimper on its way out! And the
sprinkles aren't enough to add any needed moisture. I'm sure the wind is
evaporating anything that reaches the surface of the ground. With a high
near 90 predicted today, there's probably going to a battered and bruised
looking bunch of iris stalks by the time I get home after work. Darn!
