Hi all,
Just this week we've had a big upsurge in bloom -- we're in
zone 9 (near Oakland, CA). Grow most of our iris in plastic pots
and they do quite well.
I grow mostly older historics, Jean (one of my housemates) grows
later historics, some arilmeds, Austin.
Today in bloom:
ALCAZAR (love that root beer scent!)
INDIAN CHIEF (nice sweet scent)
LAVANDULACEA
TOURNAMENT QUEEN
INDIAN HILLS
MONSIGNOR
RHEINGAUPERLE
I. PALLIDA YUGOSLAVIA
KALEIDESCOPE
JOSEPH'S COAT (KATKAMIER)
THEODOLINDA
SUGAR BLUES
UNKNOWNS:
UNK-ROSE GORCZYCA similar to President Pilkington, neat scent
UNK-CHRIS, nearly 5' tall purple bitone/gold retics, neat scent
UNK-LEN tall small flowered blue bitone
