Most of the interspecies crosses are of the beardless types.
There are several of the bearded type. ALPHA GNU by Brad
Kasperek comes immediately to mind. Also I think BLUEBERRY
FILLY has species blood, but it was not registered as Spec-X.
I think the hybridizer may have a choice in the matter at
registration, depending upon the amount of species appearance of
the clone.
A similar occurrence, though not of species origin, occurs with
quarter arilbreds. They may be registered as regular bearded if
they don't show aril characteristics. SATAN'S MISTRESS is a good
example. It is one quarter aril, but you would never suspect it.
