I also find there is some variation between seasons. Some years Scented
Bubbles is so blue it almosr had a green tint, This last spring (after a
very mild winter) it had violet tonings. In fact I saw it in one garden
where it was so violet I only recognised it by it's form, but did double
check with the grower. Also the problem for catalogue producers is that many
blues go distinctly violet when photographed on film and maybe they overdo
the correction.
Breakers I normally find to be a straight blue.
