Linda's Law: None of the flowers you pollinate will set pods, but the
stalk that falls on the ground and gets stepped on will produce a pod
that will be one of the few to make it to maturity that season.
I think the main corollary to Murphy's Law is that the magnitude of
joy/gratitude for any amount of success is in direct proportion to the
application of Murphy.
