Ah Rosalie, such memories you provoke! We too, made nearly the same trip when
my kids were little. . but all they said was, "are we there yet, I'm tired of
sitting, I'm hungry, I have to pee, she hit me, he took my book, she's sitting
TOO close to me" and on and on. I was ready to leave them on the side of the
road!!

Thanks, Waltah, for researching transportation time. The road service
sounds
ghastly!, Have been that way, driving, from Calif. back to Baltimore and
the
children asked their daddy (this was years ago and before air-conditioned
cars -- isn't that hard to believe)!) to anesthetize them the next time we
made that trip! Guess we'll have to bite the bullet and pay for air
delivery, and hopefully the changing schedules won't delay them too much!
