CULT:TB: Jesse's Song, Returning Chameleon

Hi All,

I have a pregnant fan.  Or maybe I should call it an emerging stalk.  It's
on Jesse's Song.  BUT, is this normal?  My Cooleys catalogue lists it as a
mid season bloomer, and no one else is showing any signs...

On top of that,  there's a leaf sitting on top of the stalk.

Is that normal? Jesse didn't bloom last year, so this is the first bloom on
a second year clump.  It's not like she was feeling badly, she just used all
her energy to make clump last year.

Anyway,

My clump of Returning Chameleon is very very small and tight.  It's leaves
look more like crabgrass than anything else.  This is a new iris in my
garden, did I get a surprise and end up with a BB or something?

Could just be that cold snap, I suppose,...
