My seeds should have started germinating in a week or more. In southern
KY they should be starting about last week and northern KY about now.
Since you don't like for us to talk about the weather I can not say it can
hurry or slow the process. :-)
When they come up they look like a fat tip of a grass blade sticking up.
They are also very tender and will break off just by touching one. After
they get a inch or so high another leaf starts showing. Grass seedlings are
allot finer but grass clipping are about the right size.
You are not the first to be fooled by something else that was green in the
seedling pot.
I never hurts to check a head.
