Re: CULT: Death Toll


Thanks for the feedback on LOUISA'S SONG, Ellen.  Always good to hear
how irises perform in different climates.  Anybody in the southeast
trying this one yet?

Deaths here have been pretty minimal this year and all the ones I can
think of died last fall after being set out in the garden then being
soaked with one of our 6 inches of rain in a week.  RECURRING RUFFLES
was the disappointing surprise - I had hopes that with those balkana
genes it would do well here.

Two other deaths from the same rain event were SUMMER WALTZ and
RECURRING GLORY (double drat).
