A cluster of short, stubby stalks coming out of a rhizome is
characteristic of the pineappling syndrome. It seems to be caused by
environmental stress, heat, drought, too much fertilizer, etc.

Donald, I've seen side stalks on opposite sides of the rhizome, plus I
<think> SEAKIST had both side stalks and the terminal blooming. Same
for ART DECO, although the terminal was stunted on it.
