Dave, I know how you feel. . I'm in El Paso and the wind has been awful. I
have broken stalks, shredded blossoms and a large branch on a tree down. . .
But last year was good and I know next year will be great!

Albuquerque/Belen NM; USDA Zone 6b -> 8a. Thought about raining
yesterday, failed (some in ne. part of town) wind for the last two weeks
most days and mostly rather cold. Frost last night in the river valley
(kind'a late), but about 80 F and nice today. Iris flowers coming on
strong, but shredded by wind almost as fast as they open.
