Dear Ellen,
There was no image attached to my e-mail nor any indication there should be
one. It just didn't come through.
I wanted to compare your messy porch with mine.

>Some members of our garden club took pics of a few (mostly
older) irises last June during a tour of my gardens. There are
two of Violet Shimmer: one a beauty shot on the second page and
one of a clump that shows how tall she grows here.
Unfortunately, the person who did the pages misspelled much:
like the words Siberian and the name of Walter's Ansci Art (I
probably misspelled it myself just now).
I apologize for the messy side-porch pic - that was not the
angle it should have been photographed but it shows Violet's
height at least. There are so many others that I wish had been
included...but this summer I will do my own digital photography,
she says.

Ellen (the name of our garden is not 'beautiful iris
gardens'..it is Granite Gardens (but the stone walls are not
visible..a lot of strangers' feet and a little bit of my black
dog)
