Peak is here!

Well, the earliest of the Ghio plicatas are dropping out, but for most of my
garden peak bloom has burst forth overnight! Stage Lights, Jazz Me Blue,
Society Page, Fancy Dress, Flights of Fancy, Timescape, Laugh Lines, Double
Dribble, Success Story, Louisa's Song, Tuscan Villa, Cast of Characters,
Bursting bubbles, Revere, .... all heavily blooming. Very soon to join them
will be Touch of Mahogany, Amiable, Taught By Masters, and more.

Oddly, almost every luminata (not luminata-plicatas, though) in my garden is
stunted this year; mostly short but even more obviously very small flowers.
This includes Keppel, Ghio, and Blyth intros. The exceptions are Stage
Lights, some ugly mislabeled acquisition, Fancy Dress (short but normal-sized
flowers), and all but one of my seedlings in this genre (sibs to it are fine;
I suspect it is just normally small).

A chimera of Gnu Blues opened. The stalk has assorted flowers, some normal,
some petals split down the middle, and at least one flower (the first to open;
I thought it was some hideous out-of-place seedling) was solid bluish purple.
