That is very helpful, practical information, Chuck.

We need lots of that kind of data to build a list of tough survivors for those
interested in survivability in contemporary irises.  I hear (read) a lot of
comments about other than tough ones--touchy, temperamental prizewinners.
Those kinds of varieties tend to discourage the gardener. Ones like your
GARDEN BRIDE do just the opposite--encourage and gather in the ones who want
to grow things they don't have to coddle.

Thanks for posting the information.  I hadn't picked up on the Loomis award
and am grateful your calling attention to it.  Congratulations are in order!
