Want to clarify . . . I'm referring to the seedling stage. Those seedlings
afflicted with 'failure to grow' after 2 years will be discarded, if they
don't die first. These are planted 4 across in 50 foot beds. If the others
are growing and doing well right next to them, I'm not spending time and
energy moving them around.
1812 seedings are really crowding their space and will need early
transplanting! I'll switch to a matrix or offset row pattern this year!
