Same thing here, only none snapping off yet. At this rate, stalks will
bloom at registered height. <g> Stalks here are usually only tall in
the north shadow of the house, where it stays cooler and maybe a little
bit more moisture. My guess is that adding water would probably not
help.
build a wind screen?
<Bloom stalks are willowy and a lot are snapping off. I often lose 2
from
each clump of 5-7. I think it's mainly from the fast
growth,>
