Re: HYB: form


I'm still not sure what form is best here in the rain - open standards
are definitely the worst.  Like Betty says, they wind up flatties after
heavy rainfall.

Domed standards are sometimes as bad - they wind up flattened into the
middle of the bloom

Best seem to be the older somewhat 'pointed' standards.

But substance figures into it too - some blooms have really good
substance but seem to be brittle and shred in the rain.  Others are more
rubbery and hold up a lot better.
