I'd like to recommend the AIS judges handbook for discussion and  
clarification on form.  Line drawings help define the different flower  forms of TBs on 
page 61.  Most classes have the drawing.  Also,  drawings for branching.  
 
The handbook is designed for judges but it answers so many questions for  
hybridizers and others that it really should be in the library of all iris  
buffs, and especially those that wish to hybridize.  It also lists the  
requirements for garden awards in each class.  Garden judging is what  determines most 
AIS awards.  (HM, AM, Dykes, etc.)
