CULT: weather, stalks


It is finally raining! Forecast is only for quarter of an inch, but that beats no rain at all. Forecast for the end of the week is for lows around 34oF. If we get much below freezing, it will be interesting to see what happens to the irises after 2 weeks with highs in the 80s!

Finally seeing some color on a few buds - my SDB seedling that looks like BEING BUSY (but is much stronger) seedling and BOTTLED SUNSHINE. A few stalks on TBs - HEMSTITCHED, POORMAN, a few seedlings.

Mary Lou, how big were those seedlings you lined out? Several pots of seedlings here are plenty big enought (starting to make fat little 'proto' rhizomes) but I'm going to wait till average last frost date (mid to late April). Maybe by then I will have figured out where to put a few more of them...
