CULT:damaged plants


Here's another report.  
 
It's been raining for almost 24 hours.  This follows the freeze, which  
followed the warm spell that encourage many stalks to explode from the  clumps.  
 
Freeze damage alone might not do permanent damage.  I expect wide  spread 
damage from this extended wet spell, with it on top of everything  else.
 
For now,  large clumps (2 year growth on 5 rhizomes) of "Immortality"  and 
"Lemon Reflection" in display bed show almost NO evidence of foliar  damage.  
Others around them look terrible . . . Pink Attraction, Total  Recall, Cantina, 
& Pure As Gold!  Most of the seedlings planted in May  2006 will be a total 
loss with some very obvious exceptions!
