OT: Oak Leaves
Hi all,
Boy that was fast! Guess Yahoo is fixed. It took one minute for my
Intermediates post to get to Iris Talk and three to get to Iris Photos. Is
that a record or what! (-:
Does anyone know if oak trees will recover from a freeze? I've never seen
this happen before. I took a photo of the baby oak leaves and pollen, about
the size of my fingernail, but now after the freezes they are all crispy
critters, brown and crackly as can be. Since there's lots of warm weather
ahead, will the trees shed these leaves and grow more? I don't know what to
ask Google about them or I would.
Forgot to mention that all the potted irises under the oak trees are fine,
the foliage still upstanding, but it is short, and they aren't in a cold
sink.
