I don't have to remember! My notes show my first was
2 sprouts of Immortality X Wearing Rubies, potted on
Sept 14. Incidentally, the cross was a catastrophe.
24 sprouts from 57 seeds over the following 60 day
period. Only 8 survived long enough to break ground,
and all but one died as soon as the food from the seed ran out.
The lone survivor (18th to sprout, potted up
on 10/22) is a spindly little thing, with a miniscule root
system and lucky I even planted it. Wonder if added phosphate,
changing ph or even rooting hormone would have made any
difference.
Similar sort of thing happened with my Pinkness X Lime Time cross.
7 sprouts from 13 seeds, with the first 5 never breaking ground. The
last 2, though, are very robust. They sprouted after 110 and 141 days
of chilling. Bet you a dollar they will be some shade of muddy yellow.
If you're asking how old my oldest survivor is - that would be Sugar
Blues X Entangled from the first 3 sprouts on 9/25. 100% survival from
few sprouts.
I'll find something to cover all the babies, if it really
gets that cold. Forecasters have a hard time predicting
tomorrow's weather around here, much less 3 or 4 days ahead.
BTW - Your little PFIC1 grew some through the winter. Healthy and
aiming for fall.
