New Canadian Iris Society

Hi All,

Wanted to let you know that there is a NEW Canadian Iris Society,  Northern
Lights Regional Iris Society.  For the past 3 years we have been humming and
hawing,  trying to decide if we should join CIS or just keep our group as a
tiny  mainly provincial club.  Finally some of us we decided YES> and
carried on, leaving nay-sayers behind. So here we are, affiliated with CIS,
planning events, publicity, sales and all the other things a society does.

We  are lucky to have an AIS sanctioned display garden just outside Winnipeg
with hundreds and hundreds of iris.  An exciting spring ahead of us.

As one of the very early members of Iris-Talk,  had to let you know our
news.
