HYB: REB: inheritance of cycle vs "summer" rebloom

Quite a few fans feel like they have stalks forming, especially in the IMM seedlings. Way too early more my freeze prone growing conditions. ;-(

My current <theory> is that IMM will likely throw too early spring/too late fall cycle rebloomers when crossed with something that allows it to rebloom at all here; and will only produce "summer" bloomers when crossed with another summer bloomer, or in the next generation. I.e., two early/late cycle rebloom seedlings from IMM.

Big challenge will be getting any pods or anthers on these things if they bloom so early they are routinely frost damaged.

Another theory I have is that frost damaged plants, even if they set pods, don't have seeds as viable as parents that weren't as stressed.

What do the rest of you think?

By summer bloom, I'm including very early fall bloom, blooms early enough to avoid early freezes.
