Re: CULT: HYB: freeze damage lemonade


Very few showing color here either, Paul - several buds on one seedling that did go ahead and open, but were damaged.

Some buds showing color on "not" reichenbachii were damaged, but ones that opened today were ok.

Some buds on others, both seedlngs and older storeboughts tough enough to thrive in the ground outdoors that were just stalking have that "I give up" look that shows about a week after being frozen. I will be surprised if they don't dry up and die. Might be some lower branches ok.

Others seem unaffected, but too early to tell.

I could have gone to convention after all, if I'd dragged those 50 pots of sissy storeboughts indoors before I left. ;-) They all are fine. Should have lots of pollen from them in a week or two if any seedlings outside manage to bloom and are fertile.
