Cutworms, the bane of my existence! They are a real problem here, too. And now, besides the ordinary ones that cut stuff down at ground level, we have climbing cutworms! Don't know the species or anything else about them except that they climb up plants and chew through bloom stalks! Took me awhile to figure out what was doing the damage because I had no idea such a thing existed.
