The iris season has been weird here. During a typical spring season, most of the rebloomers begin in the first week (of iris season.) This year, some of the "early birds" did not begin blooming until the second week and even later. Chuck, is it possible that their bloom season is controlled by day length in the spring as well as in the fall? Thus they do not respond to an early season in the same way as the rest? If not, is there another explanation?
