Hi Linda: I have been using Stinger for the past 5 years and have not noted any stunting of bloom stalks other than the weather related ones. All my spraying has been done in the early spring as the iris are well past the 6" stage. I would suggest you call Dow-Elanco at 1 800-258-3033 and speak to their technical department (if you haven't done so already).
