Adam and Linda: With respect to grass control Stinger will be ineffective. I have found that Envoy does an extremely effective job. The label for Envoy states "a selective herbicide for control of annual and perennial grasses."
The label for Stinger states that it is effective against curly dock but tansy is NOT listed under weeds controlled. I have found that for the best control for tansy is to pull it out as soon as it is noticed. I was able to clear my 5 acre pasture within one growing season by just pulling out every tansy plant I was able to see. It has not come back. I do miss seeing the cinnabar moth though. It is a pretty little thing.
