Carolyn: It's pretty easy to find.... mainly it's listed as SILVERBAND. Try
Ensata or Carol Warner.

Got Lorena Reid's catalog yesterday... she carries Silverband for $6. She
has LOTS of other waaaaay cool stuff and her prices are great! She offers 40
chromosome sino-sibs.... exotic and stunning.... laevigata, all kinds of
pseudacorus (If you can't grow a pseudacorus, pave the yard), versicolor and
species. She also has a notice that this will be her last year to offer
things other than her own - a shame since her catalog is always much
anticipated in E. Aurora.

For anyone Reid-less, you can get her price less by writing to 4188 McKenzie
Hwy, Springfield, OR 97478 ... Laurie's Garden. For those with little
self-control (Carolyn), her phone number is (541)-896-3756... (or I can just
copy mine).

This brings me to a pesky question... I would like to take a poll on how
people pronounce ' pseudacorus '.

How many say SUE-DOE-cor-us

How many say sue-DOCK-cor-us

I've been corrected both ways. I like number 2 better... just because I
resist calling ANYTHING pseudo.

Hope everyone's day of renewal is full of green things (with the exception of
your ham).

For us in Western New York, mother nature has thrown another sucker punch...
an inch of new snow!
