Robert,
"The Garden Gate Show with the Old Dirt Dobber" was a radio show
in Nashville hosted by Tom Williams, a good friend of Mr. Sam Caldwell.
Mr. Williams' contract called for Sam to take over the show. Mr. Williams
died in 1949 and Sam Caldwell had the show until 1960. It later was
called Garden Tips and aired until 1972.
If you have any other information about Mr. CAldwell, I would
love to know it.
